Lumenis Light Sheer ET for Hair Free Days
(Diode Laser System)
Uncomplicate, the complicated!
WHAT is laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal targets the entire hair structure, from the hair shaft, down to the follicle. Light energy with a specific wavelength is primarily absorbed by the melanin resulting in rapid heating which is required for local thermal death of the follicles.
WHAT are Diode Lasers?
A diode laser uses semiconductor technology that produces coherent projection of light waves. It uses a light beam with a narrow spectrum to target specific chromophores in the skin. Compared to other laser systems such as the Ruby and Alexandrite, the 800nm diode laser wavelength offers the deepest penetration levels and superior melanin absorption. These unique characteristics make the diode laser the most suitable technology for laser hair removal, enabling safe and effective treatment of all skin and hair types, in all body areas.

Your provider will move the hand piece over your skin, pulsing regularly. Each pulse will send a beam of light through your skin. A flashing light, an audible tone and a mild sensation on the skin will tell you when the hand piece is being pulsed.
Immediately after treatment, there may be some mild redness to your skin and the sensation of heat. This usually lasts 2 to 24 hours.
The sun spots will darken after treatment and will naturally shed from the skin within 1 to 2 weeks. After Rosacea treatment, the skin tone will typically benefit from less pronounced redness within a week after treatments. Post treatment, spider veins may appear after treatment or they may appear darker and then fully or partially fade within 10 to 14 days. Typically, a few visits will be necessary to treat sun spots, rosacea and vessels.
